Swaminarayan Developers is led by Mr. Vijay Rathod, who has spent over 20 years in Kalaburagi's real estate market. He started as a property dealer and went on to develop large plotted townships along Sedam Road.

He is also a philanthropist. He donated 5 acres of land for the Brahma Kumaris Golden Hills Retreat Centre at Gita Nagar, which has taught the art of living to lakhs of people.
